Mikael Owunna's Infinite Essence series was featured in Utopian Imagination, an exhibition that brought together artists envisioning new futures for humanity on an endangered planet. Centered on themes of radical love and collective survival, the show explored how science fiction can be used to imagine possibilities of inclusion and healing.

Owunna’s Infinite Essence images, rooted in African knowledge systems, present Blackness as the divine, cosmic source from which everything emerges. Through the lens of science fiction, Utopian Imagination presented objects, bodies, and fragments that, when viewed together, offered a collective vision for a more inclusive future.
