Cyberbaat is a collective of artists of African descent focused on leveraging the blockchain to expand creative expression. Structured as a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization), it allows artists to collaboratively fund projects, installations, and exhibitions. The collective aims to increase the representation of artists of African descent in the blockchain space while providing safe and sustainable pathways for them to build careers in web3.

Mikael Owunna contributed to this movement with the exhibition of his piece Amma's Womb from The Dogon Creation Trilogy animation series at the Cyber Baat: Sacred Roots exhibition. Through this work, Owunna explored themes of African cosmology and creation myths, using animation as a bridge between ancient knowledge and technological innovation, further emphasizing the power of African narratives in emerging digital spaces.
