COLORS
In June 2017, I quit my job to go full time with photography. A few months beforehand (March) when the decision was clear, I created this series of 11 self-portraits in one evening, "COLORS", ranging (unintentionally) across the RGB color-wheel, representing my transformation and emergence into a world full of dreams as an artist. The series starts in red (my anger and frustration with my life at the time), transforms to green (moment of knowing the choice I have to make) and finally - blue, my favorite color (fear, anxiety, determination).

The name of the series is inspired by Utada Hikaru's song "COLORS" along with the imagery of her video "Sakura Drops" and the years I spent as a child (and adult) playing Final Fantasy and watching anime.
